Well, this days i've working in the last workshop's unity and it is about how is the architecture that is not of the rich neither of the poor, in less words ¿how is the middle class' architecture? and starting with this unity the first charge who sended me was to create a museum for a craft.
Teacher gave us a craft and then a little terrain close to Baquedano subway station, just beside the violeta parra museum. Starting this work, I had to go to this place and analyze all that happen there, how is the terrain, how is the neighborhood, what about the surrounding building , the green areas, the traffic, etc. After having analyzed the place I had to look for information of my craft, in my case the 'goldsmith'. Now i have to create a program for a new goldsmith's museum in santiago.
I think the more difficult in this job is relate the craft with the terrain and the museum because i must achieve that the new place represents the way that a goldsmith works and how they exhibit their products, Also i have to look for a way that my museum doesn´t affect the violeta parra's one and instead of that, I have to match them, probably will be a litlle complicated but i have to do it the best possible.
How this is the last unity i have the rest of time until finish the semester, it is about two months, in which i hope to advance with all this work because is the last one and there's no more possibilities to save the semester.
